Default different seas tangs are from

Does anyone know the difference between the different parts of the world and the seas that tangs come from? Why is it that different seas are different prices?

for instance the difference between:
Fiji
Hawaii
Indonesia

Help!!

Some have better color and some are more rare.

so I should be looking at the fish from Hawaii when possible. Red sea is my first choice, but not all tangs come from that water

Contact Les from Wet Pets Hawaii, he is one of our sponsors. IMHO the Hawaiian fish are some of the most colorful fish to be found. If you have a wish list he is pretty good at filling it.

The different regions have different races of the same species. Some are more coloful or have slightly different patterns, and the more rare races demand higher prices.

Looks like everyone beat me to it this time. They are all right. Different locations in the world may have the same names, but the coloring is way different. The brighter and rarer one is the more it is. Les would be the best person to contact.
