when they are smaller and younger, is it ok to house 2 of them together in a 120 gallon?

Hmm, never had one, but from judging by the tank size requirements I would say small you may get away with two but in the long run only one can stay. I would just keep it at one just to be safe.

not such a good idea to keep more than one .... and be sure that you don't have or want any shrimp or crabs - or even smaller fish like gobies - because that's what they like to eat!

I love puffers especially porcupine puffers! If only I had the room to get a tank dedicated to one. I agree with Barb...pictures are must if you get one!

There was no picture in the thread. You have to view his picture gallery. I went to his profile and clicked on the photo gallery link in the lower right.

I saw one at one of the LFS yesterday and wanted to get it so bad. They are just too cute.
