Default Hawaiin Cleaner Wrasse

I just got a Hawaiin Cleaner Wrasse and dont know if its eatting or not. I really cant tell because it swims so fast and erratic its hard to watch. Anyone know what I should try to get him to eat????? Pods, shrimp, dog food, anything???????I probly shouldn't have bought it but figured I probly had a better chance of keeping it than alot of other people that may have bought it. It seems really healthy right now and is out swimming all around, so it think I have some time to get it to eat.Any help would be sweet.

I'd try to feed foods that stay suspended in the water column for a while - cyclopeeze, rods food, etc. Things that are floaty where he is swimming.

I've only seen them live for a long time in tanks that have very heavy fish populations, probably because they get a lot of their food from cleaning other fish...

i have never had luck with Hawaiian cleaners, just blue streaks, but i would try something like brine shrimp and hopefully that keeps him alive for awhile until he stats eating others foods. my cleaner eats mini spectrum pellets and flakes, i also have an over populated tank so he has fish to eat off of. hth. keep us posted

I would try live foods. Brine shrimp, mysis, blood worms, what ever you can get your hands on.
