LOL

Here is the deal , I have been wondering for a long time why I have had eggs from fish disapear,,, sometimes over night,,,,

I think I have isolated the culprit.

Here is why I think I have.

I was recently fishing and caught several nice white bass , when I cleand them they were full of eggs, ,,,,I heard storis of folks using the eggs for food in their SW tanks, Bass eggs .

So I froze them egg sack and all and have been adding small chunks of the eggsack disolved in DIY water along with the diy food.

Here is what I have as evidence of my conclusion, these things may be reef safe but could they be eating the eggs of the tank inhabitants as well.

This was taken just the other morning in my 30 gallon tank,

I knew I had one and he was getting big , however I had no idea he was anythgin like this, and it has clearly targeted the egg sack of the White Bass.

Does anyone know exactly what a nasty worm like this actually does to fish and inverts? I have heard that bristleworms are nasty, but only if you touch it with your hand while working in the aquarium. I'm guessing that if you approach the tank while it is eating the fish eggs, it will go hide.

good question Rick? Id like to know too, all I can say is they eat detritus and left over food? guess eggs would be a bonus for them
