Default Powerful childrens video

While the video is aimed at children I find it to be moving even as an adult. The music style reminds me of Jack Johnson, which I like, and the Ocean conservation theme is of course something I find near and dear.

The state of our Ocean demands immediate action on the part of adults though the long term conservation will be left to future generations. Music such as this are one way to help foster the desire to preserve what we have and minimize our impact. I feel education plays the greatest role in instilling the knowledge to make the proper choices.

This video is from an album titled Oceans are talking which benefits the Marine Environmental Research Institute (MERI). MERI is one of the groups I check in on regularly as they are active in marine research and conservation efforts.

Here's a great kids video. If you don't tear up there's something wrong.

I've really tried to help the oceans in my everyday life. Stopping eating anything that comes from the ocean has probably been the hardest but most prominent part, but it's important to influence policy makers to make the biggest changes.

And Glen, holy crap that was a tear jerker.

I'm speechless and still have tears rolling down my face...I think it was when they showed the whales in nets and the MURDERER slicing off the shark fin that the tears really started pouring down......the music and theme offsetting the horror that we've created in chilling....this is definitely one that I'll be sharing too....thanks again jason

Thanks Barb. Yes I found it to be very moving and ended up ordering the CD for my nieces.

And after seeing these close up pictures of a whale encounter I can't imagine why anyone would want to hurt an intelligent gentle creature like that.
