You should Google "The Great Global Warming Swindle," which is what those clips are from. There are numerous rebuttals to false claims made in the documentary, including falsified graphs.

I just did ,, its probably a scam on both sides!!
=========================================== The Great Global Warming Swindle Science and scientists cannot always rise above the prejudices of their class and of their age. The selection and handling of evidence often reflects these prejudices. The most highly qualified and respected scientists can be blind to obvious deficiencies in a theory, and will be dismissive of evidence when it undermines what they want to believe. But the scare over man made global warming may prove to be the first great example in the modern Western world, when science was betrayed by scientists themselves This web-site is still young, and the people running it are doing so in their spare time (when they really should be making television programmes). So apologies for its shortcomings. The makers of the documentary The Great Global Warming Swindle have made many science documentaries before. The thing they found most shocking when they started to make this one, was the weakness of the case for man made global warming, and the quantity and quality of the evidence which flatly contradicts it. =================== Here is another good one The Great Global Warming Swindle# |

If someone tells you 2+2=4 and someone else tells you 2+2=6, you wouldn't assume that they're both liars and 2+2 actually equals 5 would you? Why do people, when faced with 2 potentially verifiable yet contradictory claims simply assume that the answer is in the middle. When it comes to competing claims and matters of fact, one side is usually right and the other completely wrong. Here's a funny little story illustrating that point (and why we tend to get annoyed with journalists): THE DUCK. Dr. Boli's Celebrated Magazine. But as for "The Great Global Warming Swindle" you can see a summary of some of the major errors here from the Austrailian Meterological and Oceanographic Society: AMOS - Great Global Warming Swindle: a critique. or a much more detailed (but IMO overly picky) line-by-line rebuttal here: Full Ofcom Complaint, page 1 From the second link, a comparison to the graph from TGGWS vs. a graph of the same data it claims to show straight from the NASA website: ![]() This is one of two graphs where they made up the data, but in the case of several others (including the one above), 20-30 years of valid data is truncated to hide the current warming period that started in the mid 70s or other inconvenient information, like the lack of correlation between temperature and sunspots since then. |

It sounds like maybe both sides are hiding data!!
![]() I believe in what I seen on the science and history chanel and what knowledge I paid for many years ago . So far I am not convinced I was tought wrong. Or the history chanel is missleading any one . They seem to have their claims coverd verry well and all the facts we were tought years ago still hold solid ground. Acording to every thing I have ever read,,, the facts are still holding true,,,, the ozone layer regulates the ultravilot rays ., the ultra violet rays determine life as we know it,from alga growth to the trees and vegies we eat ,, the ozone layer is allways changing itself ,science is still trying to figure out that mother nature has a mind of her own. Can we look at the algae content of the oceans, algae releases stored oxygen , this is verry well documented, when this happens the oceans transfer from absorbing ultravilot rays and producing alga,,,, to a oxygen production machine ,, when the atmosphere fills with oxygen it also produces ozone and blocks out the ultraviolet rays and we have established a cycle, the oceans are verry large and it takes thousands of years to complete this cycle.. Co2 rises and falls on global climate change,,,, It can only be controled by the oceans , the earth is made up of water born life , water is the key to all life as we know it. . Alga in the oceans makes more oxygen by volume then all the plants on tera firma. I enjoy talking with you greenbean I hear what you are saying and I enjoy reading your post. It is good to discuss facts in a civil tone. Thank you |
