I did do some work on it. It's all done except for a way for the water to flow. I think I'm going to use rigid tubing and drill small holes in it so that I can push the water down all the way across it. I don't just want one flow. I have to test it out tomorrow when I get back from picking up some cultures.

here are some pics. I'm just not sure on what to use for a water pump. I have a lift pump and I think if I run it through rigid piping it can give me the flow I'm looking for. When I get back from the city today I'll give it a test run.

Everything worked perfectly. I need to get a small pump for water movement though. The lift pump isn't cutting it at all. I was hoping just drilling small holes in a piece of rigid piping that there would be enough pressure to shoot the water out a bit....nope. It still just barely drips.

I have a pump Otw from ocreef.com. When it gets in Im going to test it again and see where i need to go from there.

I think after the things I found today that I might try my luck at cutting acrylic. There's two designs I want everyone to comment on.

Hmm...looks mighty complicated. I like the look of the first one personally.

I agree, looks like a whole lot of work. Wouldnt it be easier to mod one of those small fish bowls? This ones cool looking and would only take two holes to do what you want Desktop & Nano Aquariums: Zoo Med Laboratories Betta Condo
