Default acrylic resurfacing

I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get my tank re-finished get all the sratches taken out and stuff. im going to fill it with water to see if you can even see the scratches but just gettin stuff lined up just incase

An acrylic scratch removal kit is all you need, it is pretty easy just takes a lot of elbow grease.

I know Reefdaddy has done this to his current tank.

Yeah i thought about doing it myself be dont want to spend all the money for the kit and still not have it turn out right. rather just pay to have a professional do it you know

Not worth it paying someone to do it, Its easy , can't screw it up. Novus is a great product. you can order from here and they have the cheapest on the net. Great to ask questions with and love the product.

Yeah, the scratch removal kits are good because it takes so long, so one slip-up won't ruin it.

Yep you seen my tank, it was full of scratches and in one evening I got it looking like brand new. Was really amazing, Iam getting a Acrylic 100 here in few days, Doing the same thing, Ill post the results here again like I did on RAF.

Will do. im still cleaning the coraline algae outta it, got the last bit soaking in vinegar now."2gallons later" I'll be taking my time cause i have never done the acrylic thing before and i have to buy a bunch of bulkheads pvc and what not. but i will keep it updated and im sure you all will get tons or more questions. lol

I don't believe it's possible to fix scratches under water, or do you mean the outside and just worried about fumes?

Yes, its a kit from kent I beleive but it uses a variety of sand papers with progressing grits, It tedious work man, before your done your fingers will look like prunes.

I am only worried about my clams filtering out the acrylic particles from the water and getting sick.

Well they float so most likely be taken out by skimmer, I would do it and next day move your clams back in.
