Open House at CoralProps - Reef-Geeks

If you get the newsletter, you may have already read about this.

On 25 June, Henk, at CoralProps, will be opening his doors (OK, just 1 door) to visitors and purchasers. Come and visit, to have a chat, adore the livestock and farm, or purchase some frags. They have lots of stock available. CoralProps just received a load of 3” Crocea and Maxima clams that will be ready to go to a new home (tank…).

When: June 25th between 9 AM and 5 PM
Where: 16511 N Applewood LN in Greenbluff (Mead), WA. Follow signs to “Hidden Acres” The greenhouse (with blue colored shade) is on the left and some parking is available near the greenhouse.

For the people who are coming from out of town for Hoopfest, you can buy your corals on Saturday and make arrangements to pick them up on Sunday. If you arrange a specific (Sunday) pick up time, Henk will make sure to have your corals ready in advance for pick up.

Some of our local club members will be spending part of the day out there, too. I had the privilege of getting to visit CoralProps, yesterday, with my camera. I think I altered the salinity, in his tanks, from all the drooling I was doing!

Here's a lil' teaser, as to what one may see, at CoralProp's Open House.

Some very nice Maricultured colonies. No, not frags, Yes, COLONIES! Some of these colonies are still in QT, but are already showing some AMAZING POTENTIAL!!

A Plethora of Ricordea. My definition of "Plethora" is A WHOLE LOT!!

A couple of the most beautiful Elegance corals I've ever seen!

If I don't get to this one first, a gorgeous Wall Hammer. I've been brainstorming where I could make this fit!!!???

No matter how many times I've tried, I just can't capture the color of this incredibly GOLD Torch! Henk needs to call it Midas Torch! (Midas Touch, Get it?) Yeah, pretty corny.

Incredible clams, from 6"-7" monsters....

.... to some lil' jewels!

Did I mention the Zoanthids?

WOW!! What a great time! Angie, Madison, my daughter Kaytlin and I went up there. Don and his wife, Hank (Henry) and his wife Ashlie, Joanne and Aaron, Markee and her Mom, and a few others, were there before we left. As I was leaving, at least 1 other vehicle was pulling in.

We came home with a few very nice additions! I saw a few clams being bagged up for other people, saw some very nice corals go out the door as well!

Pam, if you haven't made it up there yet, I saw a really nice red MiniMax, that you'd LOVE!!

Henk, thank you for opening your doors to all of us today! I hope it was a successful day for you! I know it sure was for us! I completely forgot that I'd brought my camera, so didn't get any pictures taken. Dagnabbit!!

well - after about 5 minutes in some of that Julian Sprung's Revive coral cleaner that maxi-mini was jumping off the rock

so, he is sans rock now, and cuddled in with all his buddies happy as can be
