Coral Props makes the media!!!

So, everyone needs to make sure they buy a copy of Sunday's Spokesman Review, for Sunday, March 6th! Coral Props will be highlighted, in the Business section!! As an addition, to the story, the Spokesman Review wanted to interview local customers and see and photograph the "final product." The article will include Coral Props' Green House Coral Grow operation, as well as reef tanks, to show the community what can be done, in our hobby. As part of this, I had a phone interview, with the Spokesman Review, last week. They're also coming to my home, tomorrow, to photograph our tanks. Of course, this means I've been spending all day CLEANING the tanks, and consolidating our "too many" frag racks, down to ONLY 3! lol

For those of you, who may still be unfamiliar with Coral Props, Henk, the owner has a quite large green house. In this green house, Henk grows and propagates MANY beautiful corals and a lot of gorgeous clams. I'm talking 6"+ clams!!!

Henk grows everything under natural sunlight, with no artificial lighting at all. I was amazed at the beauty and obvious health of all of his corals and clams. Even under natural sunlight, everything was very colorful. It'll all look even more amazing, in our tanks!

The photo session went well. He was here for a little over an hour. I don't think the photos taken today will be in the actual newspaper, but will be on the website. He said something about editing the video, taken at your facility, and putting some of the photos and video from today, in it. We'll have to see how it ends up! He did say that he may be able to get some of today's photos into the newspaper article, for Sunday, but wasn't sure.

Oh, and I haven't ignored your email, just haven't had the time to respond. I will though.

Did he take video in your tank? That would be pretty cool since you have such a nice tank!

The above video link has been updated, with a couple seconds of my tank.

He didn't bring the underwater video camera, so wasn't able to video inside the tank. He did, however, video, from outside. We'll see if the above linked video gets added to, anymore, in the future. I'm excited to see Sunday's paper!! I'm pretty sure that Coral Props will be featured, on the front page, of the business section!

The video looks even better! I am planning to buy many copies of the Sunday paper.

Henk, you really have an amazing operation going! I'm very proud to tell everyone about Coral Props, right here in our own neck of the woods! It's amazing what sunlight can do and you're a perfect example of that!

Michael, Yes sunlight is very powerful. It can heal and color-up corals, but it also can kill them. (too much light…)
