A new clam for me too! - Reef-Geeks

We picked up a new clam today also at the DVRC frag swap. Dr. Mac was there with a whole tank full of incredible clams! like Chris said, "you could have closed your eyes and picked an awesome one". But Michelle picked a nice one, and it only took her 20mins to decide!

Great prices also for 5-6'' gorgeous clams..

I'm really jealous of all of you guys. Are these what you call "tear drop" maximas? I think ellen and chris and barb all got a similiar pattern type. I definitely want one myself.

John, what make and model camera did you use to take those pictures. They came out really nice. I want to get a camera that can take pictures of a similar quality.

I use a Canon T1i with a Sigma 50mm 1.4 ..... Do you have a camera now? Take some pics of your little tank if you do! And you'll definitely have to start a build thread for your new 180 also! We all love a good tank build, and if you need help, you'll find plenty here!

No. Just my cell phone camera. I'm looking to get a nice camera though. That's a good idea. I'll start a thread or two once I can get some good pics of my tanks.

My 14 gallon is almost full of corals. I almost can't see the rock anymore. Everything is doing well. Restricted to softies though.

I am running halides on my new 180gal. I can't wait to load this up with SPS, LPS, and Soft Corals.

Hey, do you have any experience with Refugiums. I've had a couple in the past but nothing serious. I bought a 55 gallon refugium sump for my 180 and want to create something spectacular out of this.

No, there not a TD.

TD’s, have actual little tear drop pattern’s. The blue’ish/teal clam has long black lines.
