OK I swear I am done buying clams now... I couldn't stop at 13 clams because that is just bad luck. So I just got two more from www.clamsdirect.com



But Barry, this one isn't all blue and I think I see a scute. It must be a Maxea.



But I might have to bend my rules a little if the right clam comes by, say a blue Squammie or a Hippopus clam.

LOL I am trying to curb my addiction and start a Ricordea Addiction. I have found them for $7.50 each.

That's pretty good price.....For awhile I was getting them at that price which is close to wholesale or at wholesale. The place I got them from ended up sending me a protozoa that feeds on ricordea....Lost about half my collection about 2 years ago. I had 2x what I have now with some pretty rare Florida's too at the time....Good luck with that bro, they are just as bad. I got the receipts to prove it.

LOL yeah, I lost $3,000+ worth in clams in one foul swoop last year. Awe it is only money, at the end you can't take it with ya.

Hey Azurel you ever find them cool Agates over there?

I am also a rock hound and love finding agates but we only have white ones here.

so fifteen is the magic number, skinz?? i'll shoot for that for the new tank. have an agreeement to get a 75, and the plan is clams, duncan, acan dominated. but i don't have the tank yet, boohoo.

Never really went looking for them, I think they are more on the eastside and upnorth in Michigan. I am on the westside the state never even heard of them being found local...


Shmoliken don't let him fool you, we will see him on A&E Intervention before he actually quits. 15 is just the number he has settled on for now till the itch shows up and he has to quite the demon.
