Put a little bit in a soda cap and let it dry out and see if it crystallizes. I bet its sugar and water.

Ptyalin=A form of amylase in the saliva of humans and some animals that catalyzes the hydrolysis of starch into maltose and dextrin.
Massecuite= The mixture of sugar crystals and syrup (mother liquor) obtained during the crystallization stage of sugar refining. So in other words its fancy, thick sugar |

Theo the only way to know for sure , as what works better is , same nitrates , same tank , same skimmer , and same feeding habbits .
Hence , never my idea will ever work ![]() But if say Skinz has been trying Vodka "with not luck" and with Azno3 he has dropped the nitrates , then i would think imo the azno3 works better ! Only an opinion
