Yeah sometimes you can do as many water changes you want and it will not drop your Nitrates down just my experience

At 20ppm make sure you follow the instruction and Don't over dose reason you nitrates are very high. If you want you can even under dose but it will only take a little bit long to get them down to Zero thats all which isn't a bad thing.

Cheap bottle of Vodka 700mls about $30

Mine are holding steady at 20 ppm, even with water changes. I couldn't believe it so I checked my freshly mixed water and it was zero. I have to do something soon... Even wet skimming with one full cup a day isn't helping.

I Have the answer for 0 Nitrates and for 0 phosphates : Zeovite system i perform 10% weekly water changes 85 Litres specific and my Nitrates also holding steady at 20 ppm for around 2 months now . So i have desited that is time to install the complete Zeovite system . My friend who owns the LFS install the complete system around 3 months now in a tank of 500gallons and his nitrates from 50ppm became Zero, and he is performing water changes 2 times monthly. Yes i know for sure . I am now buying only the additives for coloration and each bottle is very expensive . From your experience what do you thing about the zeovite ;; can you share your experience;;

Yeah, zeo is not something to get into if the budget don't allow it. I've seen system's that rival zeo, so the other method's work well enough IMPO

today i phoned them and is not that expensive for the postage they said 14e and the other stuff is 70e but i have to see when i get started then i can tell

I am on day 2 of dosing, the directions say to start off slow. I dosed 2 drops yesterday and 4 drops today. It eventually gets up to like 64 drops a day by like day seven.

I haven't checked my params since starting dosing since the dose is so small. But I can say my skimmer is pushing out some serious goo. I might check params tomorrow night, the trates were at 20ppm before starting.
