Cloudy water. - Reef-Geeks

I added chemi clean a couple of days ago, and my water is hard to even see through. Anyone else had this happen? I've used it numerous times before and never had this happen. I'm doing my water change now, but it's worrying me. Nothing looks bad. I did all my tests before I added it and mag and Ca were low so I dosed it up, but other than that I add nothing to my tank. I really hate additives to fix things, but the cyno was to much this time. I need some MP40's

i took all the macros out before I added the chemical. I think it's the Ca I dosed. It was really milky.

actually it's perfectly clear. I even did another dose of the chemi clean. no cloudiness from it. Must have been the Ca dose or just a quick bacterial bloom. Either way the tank looks better lol. Thanks for asking!

Who knows! Maybe by killing off the cyano, an opportunistic bacteria bloomed to take advantage of the newly freed up nutrient source.

very true. I added a couple of filters for a HOB in my sump that would catch the crap. I'll snap a pic. I think I overfeed lol.
