Chrysiptera parasema (yellowtailed Damsels) ??? maybe
I have a few babies of them left. They hatched two days after my clowns. I put them in with the clown fry...which are all gone now. I didn't have rotifers up and going. Here's some pics of the parents and babies. A video is coming when it's done uploading.

yeah. I think they were laid on the back of that big shell against the back of the tank. The two go back there quite often. I've never pulled the shell though. They are almost timed with my A. ocellaris now lol. I'll have to get more tanks!!!!!
I'm going to try to breed everything I can. This was an added plus. I shined the light in a couple nights after the clowns hatched and there were hundreds of babies everywhere. In the DT in the sump. Just anywhere.

well now I might have a problem. I found crustacean larvae in with the fish fry. Some say it's all crustacean, but I know there's a visible tail on the fish. There's only a couple of them left. Here's some more picks inside the kriesel.

there's only a couple of things, now that I think about it, that the crustaceans might be. Either hermits or harlequin shrimp?

well if it's the harlequins, then no. They eat rotifers and such and then swap over to starfish. If it's something else that I have no idea about then maybe. I don't even have a peppermint shrimp in there.

Hopefully it's harlequins. Mysid shrimp, which do breed in reef tanks can be carnivorous. If it's possible to separate them, I would, just to err on the side of caution.

Talked with an expert today. Not harleqins. Not hermits. Talked to saltcritters.com. They r the only place I've gotten anything from in a long time. Hey has mysys and peppermints in their tanks so it has to be one of those.
