I can't wait to see either . Yes, you are correct about the filefish. If I CAN raise either or both of those species I will still raise clowns. I work for a fish store so I have access to tanks for grow out, a solid customer base, and any supplies I need.

Chris, this nest of black and whites is a little smaller than usual so I'm going to beef up my feedings and try to get a big nest. I don't plan on raise any more onyx because my picasso/perc pair produce a mix of regular and normal clowns so I don't really need them anymore. I might replace them with a different species.
ooh........like maybe a platinum?

Ill bet those filefish will be easier to keep that wild caught adults, no sticking food to a dead acropora.

I'm undecided what species I will replaced the percs with. I am considering a pair of platinums or maybe ora's new black snowflakes.

I really like the breeders blend, the fish go crazy for it especially the filefish.

Yes cb filefish would be much easier. I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off bit I have to give it a shot.

mixing up the tanks????? do you mean you're combining them? or are you adding different fish to them too? are you not breeding anymore?

I've taken a break from breeding for now. It's too much to handle between school and work. I'm graduating early though so I will start breeding again in January.

I am keeping the 120 mixed reef, downgrading the 60 gallon seahorse cube to a 29 gallon cube, getting rid of the 46 and setting up a frogfish tank. He will be here tomorrow! I'm going to stick him in a net breeder until his tank cycles.
