Default Clown Eggs

Jeeze Louise!!! I've had this pair of clowns for well over 4 years and they've never got their 'freak on' so I've never worried about the little monsters breeding.....

I came home to this today....

NO NO NO!! No babies!! Can I be completely heartless and just leave them alone? I'm kinda hoping for the sushi thing to happen. I know that sounds terrible but I'm not into breeding them.

Advice? Suggestions? Comments?

Cmon Carol you know you want to start collecting them. Just think you could take the babies into Dead Fish in a Glass Bowl and get credit.

NO WAY!!! I wouldn't take a dead fish to them! I'm curious to see if things improve when they move into their new shop.

I MUST quit reading Barb's posts......I'm actually thinking of keeping a batch of eggs.....but I have to finish cycling the other tank first.

What am I thinking?

So I get home tonight and I see a stray ric that got away at some time during its life. Well it's right where an anenome is and the clowns stay...yes all 4 of them, peacefully. Well I pick up half of a shell and this is what I see. Yes I can see eyes. I just don't have a tank or rotifers to feed them.

Actually I think I am. I think I have a little bit that survived me ignoring it so I moved a 5 gallon tank and filled it about half full and put in an airstone and the shell that the babies are on. I have a heater and a light. I'm gonna give it a shot. What's the worst that can happen right?

my rotifer culture is all dead. I can't raise the little ones. I put the shell back in the DT with mom. They are all still good I think though. Still attached to the shell.

Where are you located? I'm sure that C&B, or even I would be more than willing to send you a culture to start back up! (I have 2 healthy buckets running and I know C&B have plenty)
