Wow Chris , cool Pics... Thank you very much. And your copyright notice, how should it look like?

@Thinking Reef
No problem Andrew, the article goes online on March 8, one or two days earliere is OK.

You can look at the article, however, already on my website, it is not linked in the side but who knows the address can read it, but remember it's in German.

Oh My Goodness! I just LOVE that last pics with all those baby seahorses!!! it's just amazing to see! and discovering how to increase your survival rate "by accident" is just the best! seems like so many of us discover "the right way" to our reefing challenges by accident! and it's great that we can share this experience with each other! thank you Heinz I will definitely be referring to this thread again when we set up seahorses.......(yes, I decided that I want to do some crazy fun things with our 75g when we restart it! )...

I've been so swamped with a work project (the project from hell) that I haven't been able to take pics of our harmful algae...but we have some and I will have the pics posted here this weekend for ya!

here you can see the new article on my webside:

ReefDreams - Algen als Plage im Meerwasser-Aquarium - Ueber Methoden der Kontrolle von Algenwachstum im Meerwasser-Aquarium

it is absolut exactly the same as in the german reefer-magazin.

the link to the article in the magazine I sent you via PM, hope it works, but I'm not sure.

Hi Barbara, mostly it is a coincidence that helps a person to resolve a problem! In my case it was just a few times, and since you like the pictures of the many baby seahorses, here are a video.

just click into the pic ....

I am speechless! (and no comments from the peanut gallery please )......did I just die and go to heaven! that was simply amazing to watch Heinz...and can't believe how well-developed they are at only 3 days old! you sure have worked out a successful breeding system ... I know I ask a lot from you,....but....will you set up a separate thread on your breeding tank set up? why the crate pieces? what material are you using for them to cling to? what was that black piece at the bottom and what's its purpose? and so on.....???? would be REALLY great to know all the details of your breeding set up and tank for those of us who want to set one up

I've seen stuff for sale that shouldn't be, like Komodo dragons, venomous snakes (which are illegal where I live), and endangered Acropora coral. Animal trafficking is alive and well in the states. Unfortunately, I didn't realize many of these animals were illegal at the time, otherwise I would have reported it.
