Hey guy had my PBTA around 8 months now did post with pics when it went in. Its never bubbled just been quite stringy in the tenticals, looks really healthy and opens up quite large and feeds well. I recently dismantled the wall to took a lot of fish out so decided the reposition it in the tank, it has previuosly been located under the 14K and 20K bulbs either end of the tank but now its right in the middle under no direct light. Almost straight away have noticed a difference, under the halide it acts the same. But under my 2x54 watt T5 actinics the tenticals really shrink down and are begining to look like its bubbleing.

Thats pretty interesting. A lot of people have them and they dont bubble at all and others do. I know our haddoni hates changes in light

very interesting indeed.....looks to me like it's much happier where it is too!
this is a neat unexpected experiment that turned out successful! I'm glad you shared this with us.....great info for others to have and possibly try on their bta's too! so is he still happy?
