Awesome pinkBTA love the colour. How long have you had it, also how often does yours deflate when going to the toilet. Mine at the moment is doing it almost on a daily basis. Dont know if its anything to do with have to take down the rock wall to take some hitchiker crabs out. Have placed it back where it was but just keeps deflating once the lights kick in. You can see the nasty stuff coming out the middle as if its going to the toilet.

have had him for 5 months now they do poo out the same hole they eat with. mine deflates and curls up when i feed it other than that he doesn't hardly ever deflate but only seen him poo 1 time. what do you feed him and how often?

Well he was doing this when i first got him but seemed two settle down. Has never really bubbled. About a week ago now i found two mud crabs which i needed to get out but they were hiding in the bottom rocks (typical) so had to dismatle the wall and the BTA is at the top. I rested the rock the BTA on the sand bed while removing the wall. Hes backs pretty much exactly where he was positioned before. I feed him once a week chopped mussel. I have attatched a picture of how it is rite now. It was totally deflated about 2 hours ago after going to the toilet. Im not sure if its a kind of acclimatising to the spot again after disrupting it.

glad you got the crabs out!!! i had a mantis shrimp i didn't think i would ever get out but thanks 2 my flametail blenny i found the rock he was hiding in.
