Im done messing with it. Ive plumbed and replumbed it 3 or 4 times already. Plus i can get the same or more flow from a vortech at a fraction of the watts.

Hey guys had the PBTA a week now and has settled in ok i think its stayed exactly where i put it and my maroon pair have hosted in it already. Just wondered if anyone knows how long it will take for it to inflate fully like the BTA in first pics on the thread as mine are still a little stringy. thanks guys

The RBTA I have pictured on the 1st page was a small juvenile when I got it. It bubbled. As it matured it lost it's bubbles. So theory 1 us that they only bubble during adolesence. However when that one split the clone did not bubble. So we may have to take it a step further and say that only truely young anemones bubble. I've also had nems that bubbled until they went in to a tank with a lot of flow at which time they lost their bubbles. Which lends itself to the theory that they bubble for bouyancy. The two I recently purchased are in different flows, the lower flow nem has more of a bubble to it's tenticles then the one in higher flow. I personally believe that the amount of flow dictates whether or not they KEEP their bubbles. But once they are gone, they are gone for good. I also believe that once and anemone matures it no longer requires the aide the bubble provide in keeping the tenticles in the current to capture food. |

I have two now, I got rid of a few. No I don't move them because they always pick the biggest rock in the tank and set up shop. Plus my tank really doesn't allow me to move them, I have too many other corals. |

Hey guys i have a pink bubble anemone, not sure if its also called a rose or if that somthing different, I have had it now about 5-6 weeks. Its settled feeding and my maroon clowns are happily hosting it and feeding it to. My question is about it bubbling up, although its deffinatley open more than in the shop its still new bubbled up like you see sum BTA in pictures etc. Does this come with time or will it never bubble or is my bta not happy. Thanks guys will attach some pictures later once the halide comes on as its only 9am here thanks
